NC Sales Tax
The Flower Hut charges a local sales tax of 7.25%. In almost every state, florists that have a "bricks and mortar" shop MUST charge local sales tax.
If you encounter a floral source on the internet that DOES NOT CHARGE SALES TAX, you can be virtually certain that they ARE NOT A REAL FLORIST!
Why is that important? Many "Phony Florists" are actually ILLEGAL by North Carolina law. Why? Because they misrepresent their location, add HUGE surcharges, pocket about 44% of YOUR MONEY in FEES and COMMISSIONS and then send the order to a REAL florist (often the Flower Hut) in Charlotte.
